Our Guarantee to You
We guarantee that your Georgina Jewels piece will be free from defects in materials or craftsmanship at the time of delivery and for the life of the piece. If you believe your jewellery has a manufacturing defect, please contact us to arrange an inspection.
If we determine the issue stems from a manufacturing defect, Georgina Jewels will repair the piece at no cost to you.
What is Covered
A manufacturing defect refers to a flaw in the structure or craftsmanship of the piece, including but not limited to:
- Porosity or imperfections in metal casting
- Weak or improperly formed solder joints
- Irregularities in stone settings not resulting from wear, damage, or misuse
What is Not Covered
This guarantee reflects our commitment to exceptional craftsmanship; however, it does not cover issues arising from:
- Normal wear and tear such as scratches, dents, or tarnishing
- Loss of stones due to bent, worn, or broken prongs caused by accidental damage or regular use
- Damage from improper storage, cleaning, or exposure to chemicals
- Any alterations, modifications, or repairs performed by jewelers other than Georgina Jewels
We strongly recommend securing personal insurance for your jewellery to protect against loss, theft, or damage not covered by this guarantee.
Guarantee Process Within Canada
- Initiate a Claim: Email us at info@georginajewels.ca with your full name, original order number, and a detailed description of the issue, including photos if available.
- Assessment: We will evaluate your claim to determine whether the issue likely qualifies as a manufacturing defect.
- Complimentary Shipping: For approved claims within Canada, Georgina Jewels covers insured shipping both ways. You will receive a pre-paid, fully insured shipping label for secure return.
- Inspection & Repair: Upon receipt, our artisans will carefully inspect your piece. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will perform necessary repairs and return your jewellery promptly.
- Non-Covered Repairs: If damage is not due to a manufacturing defect, we will notify you and provide a repair quote before proceeding.
